Anadarko has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against The Kingfisher Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Anadarko nor Kingfisher posted many points in their last games could muster much offensive firepower in their last games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 42-7, which was the final score in Anadarko's tilt against Metro Christian on Friday. Anadarko was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
Meanwhile, Kingfisher didn't have quite enough to beat North Rock Creek on Friday and fell 12-10.
Anadarko has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Kingfisher, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-7.
Anadarko came up short against Kingfisher in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, falling 27-22. Can Anadarko avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
