Priddy is 8-0 against Evant since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Priddy Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Evant Elks at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On December 1st, Priddy strolled past Round Rock Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 42-23. The win made it back-to-back wins for Priddy.
Meanwhile, Evant entered their tilt with Gustine with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Evant took down Gustine 41-25 on Friday.
Evant's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Luwi Rodriguez, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and five assists, and Molly Waldrum, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. The matchup was Rodriguez's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Priddy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Evant, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
Priddy strolled past Evant in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 46-27. Will Priddy repeat their success, or does Evant have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
