The Traverse City West Titans will challenge the Bay City Western Warriors at 6:50  p.m.  on Friday. Bay City Western took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Traverse City West, who comes in off a win.
 Traverse City West took a loss when they played away from home  two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. They strolled past Mt. Pleasant with  points to spare, taking the game  30-13. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 It was another big night for  Owen Hendrix, who rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 103 yards  on six of 12 attempts. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in October of 2023.

 Meanwhile, Bay City Western and Traverse City Central met for a duel  on Friday where Bay City Western had to take the L. Bay City Western fell just short of Traverse City Central by a score of  12-10. The Warriors have struggled against the Trojans recently, as their game  on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
 Traverse City West now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for Bay City Western, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
 Traverse City West barely slipped by Bay City Western in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023, winning  8-7. Does  Traverse City West have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bay City Western turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
