Mott took a 21-point defeat the last time they faced off against Lake Orion, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mott Corsairs slipped by the Lake Orion Dragons 41-40 on Wednesday. The 41-point effort marked the Corsairs' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for Mott and bumps their season record up to 20-3. As for Lake Orion, they moved to 16-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Mott nor Lake Orion have any future games scheduled.
