On Thursday, Legacy take on Verdugo Hills at 4:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
It was all tied up at the half for Legacy and Hawthorne last Friday, but Legacy stepped up in the second half. Legacy took their contest against Hawthorne 12-0.
Meanwhile, Verdugo Hills found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-28 punch to the gut against Kennedy last week.
Legacy's win lifted them to 1-1 while Verdugo Hills's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Legacy can add another positive mark to their record or if Verdugo Hills can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Legacy's step.
