The Cypress Ranch Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Klein Collins Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cypress Ranch will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Klein Collins is ranked 23rd).
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Cypress Ranch, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 38-23 loss to Cypress Falls.
Meanwhile, Klein Collins had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They walked away with a 23-14 win over Klein.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Klein Collins to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tucker Parks, who threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Parks has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Rodny Ojo was in the mix too, providing Klein Collins with two touchdowns.
Cypress Falls' win bumped their season record to 8-2 while Cypress Ranch's loss dropped theirs to 6-4.
