The Highland Trojans will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against the River Forest Ingots at 1:00  p.m. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.

 Meanwhile, River Forest entered their tilt with Rensselaer Central with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They won by a  run and slipped past the Bombers  6-5.
  Kaleb Short made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Short has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Short was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Sebastian Collazo IV was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Ahmad Sweezer was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Highland's win bumped their record up to 9-18. As for River Forest, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record  this season.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Highland has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.7  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like River Forest struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 9.9.
