Amity Regional enjoyed a cozy 52-34 victory over Lauralton Hall. Given Amity Regional's advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Lauralton Hall is ranked 133rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lauralton Hall's loss came despite strong showings from Katelyn Landin and Lauren Marsden. Landin scored 16 points, while Marsden scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Amity Regional has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Lauralton Hall, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13.
