After a string of three wins, Fordyce's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Parkers Chapel Trojans by a score of 4-3. The Redbugs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Fordyce's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Parkers Chapel, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Fordyce will head out to challenge Pine Bluff at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Fordyce is facing Pine Bluff at the right time seeing as Pine Bluff is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Parkers Chapel, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hampton at 5:00 p.m. on April 1.
