Central Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alexis Johnson led the charge by scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. Cayle Grossart was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine rebounds.
Central Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Riverside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
