After four games on the road, Flinthills is heading back home. They will take on the Caldwell Bluejays at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Flinthills is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bluejays in Kansas (the Mustangs are ranked 143rd, while the Bluejays are ranked 358th).
Last Tuesday, Flinthills was able to grind out a solid victory over the , taking the game 35-23. That's two games straight that Flinthills has won by exactly 12 points.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Caldwell, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-27 loss to the Wildcats on Tuesday.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Bree Strecansky, who scored five points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Flinthills has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Caldwell, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Flinthills against the Bluejays in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 50-16 win. With Flinthills ahead 36-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
