The Dana Hills Dolphins entered their tilt with the Aliso Niguel Wolverines with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. Dana Hills simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Aliso Niguel 84-53 at home. Dana Hills has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 25 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dana Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Collin Haugh, who scored 23 points along with five assists and two steals. Haugh has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 17 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Scodeller, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Dana Hills pushed their record up to 22-4 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.1 points per game. As for Aliso Niguel, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.
Dana Hills will head out on the road to take on Mission Viejo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mission Viejo has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 30. As for Aliso Niguel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against El Toro at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. El Toro will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 526th, while Aliso Niguel is ranked 199th).
