Eagle has been on the road for four straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Bishop Kelly Knights at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Thursday, Eagle faced Timberline in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Eagle fell just short of Timberline by a score of 49-46. Eagle has struggled against Timberline recently, as their contest on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Bishop Kelly pushed their score all the way to 55 two weeks ago, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Mountain View 60-55.
Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bishop Kelly, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
