The Crescent Loggers waltzed into their matchup Thursday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wishkah Valley 76-14 at home. Crescent's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Crescent had a senior duo take command as Lukas Love scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and Conner Bauers scored ten points along with seven steals. The match was Love's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikah Love, who scored seven points along with five assists.
Crescent pushed their record up to 7-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Wishkah Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescent won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Shoreline Christian at 7:15 p.m. on December 15th. Shoreline Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Crescent likes a good challenge. Wishkah Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Clallam Bay at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. Clallam Bay will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
