Lynnden Hodge's Big Game Leads Buena Park over University
Starting off the list is Buena Park's Lynnden Hodge, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 131 rushing yards.

For the year, Oldham has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 85.3 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 3.43 receiving yards per game.

A Season-Best Performance from Joshua Whang Leads Portola over Katella
On Friday, Portola got the W thanks in part to Joshua Whang playing the best football he has all season. Whang rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 58 yards.
Portola's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. Whang and Portola will challenge University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
