After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Baker, The Davidson Warriors were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 34-19 win over Bryant. Winning may never get old, but Davidson sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Derrick jerome Butler had a dynamite game for Davidson, rushing for 327 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry. Butler is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Davidson also got a significant boost from Terrance Gray, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 142 yards.
Davidson now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Bryant, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bryant will look to defend their home field on November 3rd against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. Northridge is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
