Lakeview had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. Everything went their way against the St. Joseph Academy Jaguars as they made off with a 16-5 win.

Lakeview got a massive performance out of Kennedy Bartlett, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs Bartlett has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hallie Capan, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Lakeview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Joseph Academy only posted an OBP of .385.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for St. Joseph Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4.

Coming up, Lakeview will be playing at home against Marlington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Dukes' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for St. Joseph Academy, they will square off against West Branch at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
