Seneca is 8-2 against the Warriors since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Seneca Bobcats will look to defend their home court against the West-Oak Warriors at 7:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Seneca's favor as the team sits on ten straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Warriors have been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.
Seneca can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They claimed a resounding 75-47 victory over Walhalla on the road. Given Seneca's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Razorbacks are ranked 225th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even though Crescent scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, West-Oak still came out on top. West-Oak snuck past the Tigers with a 59-55 win.
It was another big night for Lucas Towe, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 18 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Drew Crompton, who scored 14 points.
Seneca is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for West-Oak, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-19.
Seneca strolled past the Warriors in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 71-54. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Towe, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Seneca still be able to contain Towe? There's only one way to find out.
