Parkwood had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 4-4 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They secured a 53-47 W over the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolf Pack also won the last time the pair played back in January.

As for Forest Hills, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3 record. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Forest Hills' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Toryjh Parker, who posted eight points and six boards. Landon Blakeney was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

Parkwood and Buford will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Forest Hills, they will head out on the road to square off against Myers Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
