Baseball Recap: Ketcham Has No Trouble Against Suffern

Ketcham won the last time they faced Suffern and things went their way on Monday too. The Storm were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Mounties. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Tyler Durkin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Durkin was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Nico Simou was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Ethan Paredes was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Ketcham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .541. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.
