Meanwhile, Putnam County pushed their score all the way to 63 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 89-63 walloping at the hands of Thomson. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Putnam County in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.
Glenn Hills' loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Putnam County, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season.
Glenn Hills suffered a grim 72-48 defeat to the War Eagles in their previous matchup back in January. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Glenn Hills was down 38-18.
