The Front Range Christian Falcons and the Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels will compete for holiday cheer at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Falcons on Monday. Front Range Christian was the clear victor by a 59-34 margin over Front Range Baptist. The game was close at halftime, but Front Range Christian turned on the heat in the second half with 34 points.

Front Range Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach Woo, who went 7-for-15 en route to 20 points. Woo's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Jackson Baldwin was another key player, putting up nine points along with six assists and five steals.
Front Range Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Golden View Classical Academy got the win against Caprock Academy last Saturday by a conclusive 55-29.
Golden View Classical Academy's win came from a few key players Front Range Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jacob Walker, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Huck Hale, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 15 points and six boards.
Golden View Classical Academy's record now sits at 3-1. As for Front Range Christian, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Front Range Christian has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Golden View Classical Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 30.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Front Range Christian couldn't quite get it done against Golden View Classical Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 as they fell 60-48. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
