Eastside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Malachi Garvin led the charge by scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Garvin scored 15 or more points. Jaden Carter was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Eastside, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-16 record this season.

As for Eastside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lancaster at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
