Hillsboro waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the New Lisbon Rockets by a score of 13-10. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hillsboro pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-12 Necedah and 3-13 New Lisbon (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 31.6% over those games). As for New Lisbon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Hillsboro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-0 loss against Bangor on the 16th. As for New Lisbon, they will head out to square off against Necedah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.69 runs per game on average), something the Rockets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
