When it comes to explaining why Ranchview lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Jadyn Smith. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Simpson, who scored 5 points.
The victory got Denison back to even at 8-8. As for Ranchview, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Denison will take on Pebble Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pebble Hills will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Ranchview, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Newman Smith at 6:30 p.m. Newman Smith has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
