While Richmond put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Centerville. The Red Devils blew past the Bulldogs 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ja'Riyah Delucio was excellent, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominick McKinley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Richmond's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Centerville, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Richmond will square off against Mt. Vernon at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Red Devils 4, the Marauders 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Centerville, they will face off against Northeastern at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
