 Lee's Summit West will need to focus on slowing down  Kaden Buhman, one of several Staley players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 92 receiving yards and one  touchdown. Buhman really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.  Connor Jones was another key player, having thrown for 257 yards and two touchdowns.
 Staley's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lee's Summit West, their  victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4.
