The Armada Tigers won the last time they met up with the Imlay City Spartans, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Everything went Armada's way against Imlay City on Friday as they made off with a 61-41 victory. Sixty-one seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the squad scooped up a win with the same point total in their contest this week.
The win makes it two in a row for Armada and bumps their record up to 10-7. The loss dropped Imlay City's record to 8-10.
Armada will look to defend their home court next week against Croswell-Lexington. Armada is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. As for Imlay City, they will go up against Yale next week.
