The Idalia Wolves and the Stratton Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Idalia Wolves had to settle for second. Idalia was outmatched by Stratton on the road and fell 54-0. Idalia's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Tarek Glanz threw for 41 yards on 11 of 22 attempts.
Cyler Notter had an outrageously good game for Stratton as he rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Brody Webb was in the mix as well, providing Stratton with two touchdowns.
Idalia's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Stratton, they have yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 12-0 record.
Idalia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stratton will square off against Cheyenne Wells at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Cheyenne Wells knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully Stratton likes a good challenge.
