Jaron Cannon's Big Game Leads Omaha North over Bellevue West
 Starting off the list is Omaha North's  Jaron Cannon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cannon rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Cannon must have Bellevue West's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Cannon rushed for 162 yards while picking up 10.1 yards per carry the last time he and the Thunderbirds duked it out  back in August of 2023.

 Another Omaha North player making an appearance on this list is  Darion Jones. He picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Jones and Omaha North will square off against Lincoln Southwest at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The  matchup will pit Jones up against  the Silver Hawks' star WR  Griffin Semrad. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Brockston Teply Delivers Best  Performance of Season
 On Friday, Lincoln Southwest got the W thanks in part to  Brockston Teply playing the best football he has all season. Teply threw for 125 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
 Lincoln Southwest has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record  this season. Teply and Lincoln Southwest will face off against Omaha North at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Big Game from Matson As Lincoln Northeast Fell 42-22
 While  Grant Matson delivered a dominant  effort  on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Lincoln Northeast. South Sioux City had no answer to  Matson  as he rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 111 yards and a touchdown. Matson was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 62 yards.
 Lincoln Northeast has  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record  this season. Matson and Lincoln Northeast will head out on the road to  face off against  Bellevue West  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Levi Sherman Makes It Two for Lincoln Northeast
 Another Lincoln Northeast player making an appearance on this list is  Levi Sherman. He picked up 18 receiving yards and a touchdown.
