Adams Central had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They blew past the Omaha Northwest Huskies 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Nick Mousel made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Liam Dyer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Cole Cooper was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Adams Central hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive matchups.

Adams Central pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Omaha Northwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Adams Central has already played their next contest, a 9-3 victory against St. Paul/Palmer on the 6th. Omaha Northwest has also already played their next matchup (against Douglas County West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
