Gonzalo Cano Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Gonzalo Cano posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Belen over Los Alamos on Friday. Cano rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 122 yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 63 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Belen and nudges their season record down to 2-4. Cano and Belen will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Highland at 7:00 p.m. on October 17th.
