The Christian Community Colts waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 41-23 win over Highland Rim Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Christian Community also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Christian Community's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alexis Myers, who scored nine points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Anna Nix, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Christian Community has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Highland Rim Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Christian Community and South Haven Christian will face off at 6:45 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Highland Rim Academy on the road again on Monday and play against Pleasant View Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 29th.
