In other batting news, BRYGETTE RAYGOZA was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was JUSTINE MEJIA, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Arleta's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Verdugo Hills has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Arleta, though, as they've been averaging only 2.5 strikeouts. Will Verdugo Hills keep running through batters, or will the Mustangs buck the trend?
Everything went Verdugo Hills' way against Arleta when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Verdugo Hills made off with a 12-0 victory. Do the Dons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
