The South View Tigers can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They blew past Cape Fear Christian Academy 58-21 on the road. The victory was nothing new for South View as they're now sitting on three straight.
Nahmiah Aekins was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Zakiera Gaillard, who scored five points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Glenna McLamb, who scored 13 points.
South View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
South View will head out on the road to square off against Gray's Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gray's Creek will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 441st, while South View is ranked 160th). As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lee Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
