When it comes to explaining why Abilene Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryinn Waggoner. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds. Waggoner has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brooks Armstrong, who scored 10 points.
Cornerstone Christian's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Abilene Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
