Steeley was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in February.
 In other batting news, Central Valley let  KaDynce Piceno and  Abigail Krauss run wild. Piceno  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4, while  Krauss  scored three  runs while going 2-for-4. Those  two  runs gave  Piceno a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Gabriela Delatorre, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-5.
 The  win made it two in a row for Central Valley and  bumps their season record up to 10-6. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Pacheco, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
