The Elkhart Elks were the 49-44 winner over the Normangee Panthers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Elkhart fell to Normangee 58-54. Elkhart has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Normangee found their leader in underclassman Pj Edwards, who scored 20 points along with 9 rebounds. Edwards has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Trey Kirven, who scored 10 points.
Elkhart now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Normangee, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Elkhart will face off against Cayuga at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. Normangee is on the road again on Thursday and play against New Waverly at 10:00 a.m. on December 7th.
