While Fargo North's victory against Grand Forks Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 win over the Knights on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their two-run performance the game before.

Fargo North now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Grand Forks Central, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fargo North will head out to challenge Devils Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans are facing the Firebirds at the right time seeing as the Firebirds are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Grand Forks Central, they will venture away from home to take on East Grand Forks at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
