The Shelby Coyotes can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Choteau with a sharp 57-31 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Shelby has posted since December 14, 2023.
Despite the loss, Choteau still got an impressive performance from Ava Gunderson, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gunderson has scored all season.
The win makes it two in a row for Shelby and bumps their season record up to 8-3. As for Choteau, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
Shelby's road trip will continue as they head out to face Chinook at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th. Chinook will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Choteau, they will head out on the road to square off against Rocky Boy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rocky Boy is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
