Baseball Recap: South Milwaukee Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If South Milwaukee was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Waukesha South on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets lost 13-2 to the Waterford Wolverines on Saturday. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

South Milwaukee's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-5. As for Waterford, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, South Milwaukee will host Whitnall at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waterford, they will venture away from home to face off against Badger at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
