Tucson High Magnet School waltzed into their contest on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against the Walden Grove Red Wolves by a score of 5-1.
Alyssa Torres spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
