New Brockton is 2-8 against Pike County since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The New Brockton Gamecocks will be playing at home against the Pike County Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. New Brockton will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
New Brockton can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They breezed by Daleville at home to the tune of 73-28. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point New Brockton had established a 25 point advantage.
New Brockton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gabriella Eubanks led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Eddins, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, with a playoff game on the line, Pike County rose to the challenge on Monday. They secured a 47-41 W over the Bobcats. Pike County's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
New Brockton is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Pike County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-15.
Everything came up roses for New Brockton against Pike County when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 69-17 victory. With New Brockton ahead 42-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
