Chloe Malmgren was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Avery Taylor was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played.
