After six games on the road, Ralston Valley is heading back home. They will take on the Legacy Lightning at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ralston Valley pushed their score all the way to 55 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 64-55 to Highlands Ranch. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ralston Valley in their matchups with Highlands Ranch: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Ralston Valley got a solid performance out of Sophia Sabus, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. The game was Sabus' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sammi Madden, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Legacy made easy work of Platte Valley on Friday and carried off a 56-34 victory.
Ralston Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Legacy, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Ralston Valley beat Legacy 59-47 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Legacy's Madison Gage, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds.
