Despite the loss, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge still got an impressive performance from Kolby Hansen, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradyn Urwiler, who scored five points along with two steals.
Wayne was led to victory by Caiden Backer and Gavin Redden. Backer scored 14 points along with two steals, while Redden scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Redden has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Jace Jorgensen was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Wayne, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will head out on the road to take on Osmond/Randolph at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wayne, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Bend Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Bend Central will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
