Westside put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pike County Pirates  a   7-0 shutout.
 Westside didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Kaila Lucas,  Bre'Elle King,  and  JiKayla Marshall picked up one apiece.
 Westside's win was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Pike County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-3.
 Coincidentally,  both  will both be playing Starr's Mill the next time they take the field. Westside will head out to face Starr's Mill at 6:15  p.m.  on Monday, while Pike County will play them later in the day, at 5:00  p.m.
