Vian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 48-14 victory over the Henryetta Knights. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Wolverines just coasted through the last quarter.

Although Henryetta took the loss, they still got scores from Gavin Williams and Joseph Cummings.

Vian's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Henryetta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Vian will face off against rival Wilburton at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
