The West Forest Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Brockway, falling 66-39. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Forest in their matchups with Brockway: they've now lost three in a row.
Brockway found their leader in underclassman Caleb Daugherty, who scored 21 points along with three steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Reese Yahner, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
West Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Brockway, their win bumped their record up to 1-5.
West Forest will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Redbank Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 16, 2024. Brockway is on the road again on December 27th and play against Brookville at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Brookville is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
