Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Snags Ninth Win in Last 12 Games

Lincoln County won the last time they faced Lake Mead Christian Academy, and Kalen Bart did his part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Lincoln County Lynx's way against the Lake Mead Christian Academy Eagles on Saturday as the Lincoln County Lynx made off with a 68-44 victory thanks in part to Bart, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. What's more, he also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024.

Rowdy Lloyd was another key player, putting up 17 points and five boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Lake Mead Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Nathan Kellner, who went 5 of 11 en route to 12 points and six rebounds. Kellner is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Noah Vinoya also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Lincoln County is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Lake Mead Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will square off against Adelson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Mead Christian Academy, they will challenge Awaken Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
